I went to put gas in my car this afternoon but alas my gas cap was gone! I tried to remember when I had last filled up and it hit me- day 2 of my quit when I was in a COMPLETE fog!! So the next time you see someone driving down the road with a gas cap on their trunk, please don't make fun of them- maybe they just quit smoking. Oh yeah, the fog is lifting, I actually remembered this story!! Dupe  My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/11/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 5 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 85 Amount Saved: $16 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 12 Mins: 20 Seconds: 32

Thanks for the laugh Dupe Here I though I was just doing what I always do! Kinda like putting the milk in the cupboard instead of the frig! Although I do remember this weekend when my son asked me for some toast with jelly on it, on Sat. (He's been a bit sick with Strep). Anyway, on Sunday I finally remembered that he had asked me for that. So much for being all there! Dupe, Thanks for the laugh, I like your story. Now I can admit that in my first week, the first time I went into the local store where I always bought cigs, I got a few things and automatically asked for 2 packs of cigs. (talk about a habit!?) After the girl rang up the purchase, I "remembered" I didn't smoke any more and had to "return" them. Haven't done that since the fog lifted. LOL.
