I had my annual physical yesterday. I had also discontinued my already very low dose of blood pressure medication 10 days before my appointment. Readings at the doctor were 117/72 and 120/ 78. (I had them check it twice.) I also had a reading a few days earlier that was 132/72 ( little high on the top number, but not medication worthy). All within normal ranges, from what I understand. Doc said it was OK for me to stay off the meds and just continue to monitor my BP here and there. He said that the numbers might creep back up over time, but that it's fine to be medication free right now.

Everything else seemed to check out as normal. Nothing noteable on my EKG, and they said my lungs sounded clear. I'm glad to be alive and relatively healthy right now.
