Great Topic, Mike! We can lose sight of what is important some times and doing exercises like this help us recapture important things.

1. I am thankful that my wife of 11 years is my best friend, the rock to my kite, my partner and is even hotter now then she was 11 years ago.

2. I am glad to have a job (no matter how stressful it is)

3. I am happy that no matter how tough things seem, how brutal they get, I can still make a joke and laugh at anything.

4. I love where I live, I love NYC, I love being a sterotype of a NY Jewish Left Wing Intellectual.

5. I love my friends and fellow EX-Smokers on SSC. Thanks for everyone's support. Also, a special shout-out to Sassy (Who I know is a more of a lurker then a poster...) for introducing me here.

Congratulations Mike!  All the best for a great 32nd Anniversary.

I am thankful for my wife.  So many people go through life never finding that special someone to spend their life with.  I am happy to have found mine so soon.

I am thankful for my son.  He has brought a lot of joy to my life.  I am thankful that I'll have more time to spend with him now.

I am thankful for my parents.  They have always stood by me through everything with love and encouragement.  I couldn't ask for more.

I am thankful for my wifes family.  Believe it or not they don't fit the profile of the typical in laws and I care for them very much.

I am thankful for my friends which includes you all.  Thanks.

I'm thankful for my three children, who deserve the very best of mothers but got me instead and love me anyway.
I'm thankful for having a mother that would give up everything for her children.
I'm thankful that there are people who care if I have a bum knee or a bad day.
I'm thankful for true friends.
I'm thankful for my health, even though I haven't showed it in the past.
I'm thankful that when Josie talked about that Grandpa smell that I could still remember mine.
I'm thankful for the support of everyone here to get me through all the tough times.
I'm thankful for chicken biscuits from McDonald's - I miss them and will never take them for granted again.

Hi

I'm thankful for my husband, my two kids, my parents,  and my sister,.
I'm thankful for my really true friends.
I thank God for the llife I have had, because I don't deserve it; He deceided to asign it to me.
I'm thankful for my health that I have tried to destroy.
There is a saying that says: Some people come to life to be happy  with wathever God gives them, and some people come to this life tu suffer because of the things God hasn't give them.
So we should be happy and thankful for everything.
Take care
Marivi

This is always a good topic!
I'm thankful for my family, our health, our new grandson.  I'm thankful for my quit, considering I was beginning to believe I'd never do it.  You all helped me change my thought patterns!  I'm thankful for that.
I'm thankful for SSC, thankful my thyroid surgery is over and all went well.
I'm thankful for a good cup of tea, chocolate chip cookies(homemade ones)...oh the list goes on and on!
Each and every smoke free day I experience I'm thankful for...and humbled by.

Keep those quits going strong,
Jan
