Sparky, my deepest condolences to you and your family.  May the cherished memories of your brother-in-law comfort you during this difficult time.  Being sober for 32 years today and smoke free for 38 days, how awesome that you can do what you need to do to help your family while remaining smoke free.  My thoughts and prayers to you and yours.

Yesterday my brother-in-law had surgery.  The surgery went well and they were getting ready to move him to recovery.  He didn't make it there.  His heart gave out and he died.  My heart is heavy today, but I didn't smoke and I do no want to smoke.  I am only doing what I should be doing.  For now I just want to be there for my sister-in-law.  Why?????????

There is a small upside to my day, I am 32 years sober today.

Keep the Quit
Sparky
