congratulations, blue cloud,
I was going to ask you ..how are you spending your $1000.00 ++ dollars??? All the benefits of quitting smoking; look at the money we would have spent? It is mind boggling. Especially now at $5-$8 a pack here in the US. It is such a great feeling to celebrate that one year..one year of blood, sweat, and tears, as they say; but with the wonderful rewards of freedom. Great job, blue cloud. Your posts have also helped me during some of my struggles. Nice reward!

Congratulations Blue Cloud!!!

My friend, you've worked hard to get to this milestone and you so deserve to treat yourself to a reward beyond compare.  Make it one you'll always remember ok?

Isn't it amazing to look back into your journals and see how very far you've come in one year?  Like you, I'd like to thank and acknowledge all those people you listed (plus your own self and some others who were just a little before your joining SSC).

BC, I'm so proud of you....walk tall woman.  I know this coming year will be full of peace, contentment and all the good things life has to offer.  Enjoy!

Luv,
Pat

Better late than never right?

Congratulations Blue Cloud.  The title of your post here really is the key to a successful quit.  Many, many, many times I waited for five more minutes before I would light up.  When a day seems to much do five minutes at a time.  Break it down to doable pieces.

The minutes turn to hours, the hours to days, days to weeks, weeks to months, months to years.......  Like Timex... we just keep on ticking!  I still remember thinking 'I've gone 4 hours; I'm not stopping now.... 17 hours no going back....  48 hours, I can't give up now.... on and on until today.  What a wise decision.

Congratulations again!
