Mylast, Roll your desktop quit meter back about three months, show it to him and ask him which option will save you more money. :) I doubt his response will be the same as it was today. Hang in there and keep breathing. Danielle ______________________ The SSC Support Team

Ask him, "which is more better? paying for lung cancer treatment in 10 years or paying for patches now?" See what he says. Crave the Quit! I don't know where you live but in my part of the world, cigarettes are far more ecpensive than patches, and you don't buy them for the rest of your life. Anybody who tried to take my patches away would get more than a pummeling. A good kick in the junk comes to mind, but that's just me. You do what you have to. My husband quit four years ago and never looked back. Me that it whole different story. Thank goodness he has supported me though Zyban, patches, SmokeAway, cold turkey and now Chantix. I have tried and tried and tried and spent the money. You know what as long as you are quit eventually the money saved will pass what you are spending now. I don't know what to say about hubby. There are a lot of people out there that just don't understand how hard it can be for some and so easy for others. Just keep doing what you need to do, we are here for you. Keep the quit Sparky My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/30/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 22 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 220 Amount Saved: $66.00 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 0 Mins: 30 Seconds: 6

No, He doesn't smoke. He used to many years ago and I think he says he gave it up with very little problem. I just don't think he understands how hard this is for some people. Well that was last night and I didn't smoke through it so now I am better for it. :) Thanks for your replies. Hi Tell him it cost just the same to buy the patches as it would to buy the cigs. In fact it may be cheaper to buy the patches. I spent $180.00 a month on cigs, and $122.00 a month on Chantix. Plus we are healthier! We Win!!! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/1/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 82 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,050 Amount Saved: $410.00 Life Gained: Days: 8 Hrs: 17 Mins: 17 Seconds: 42

My husband last night complained about the cost of the patches! He might have a reason to be upset because I bought Chantix also before I realized I couldn't wear a patch with it and I had already quit with the patch. But...... I felt like pummeling him. I also really wanted a cigarette but I don't smoke anymore. Urghhhhhh!!!!!! Just letting off steam. Deep breathes! Deep breathes! Have a great day!
