It must be Februsry is the right month to quit. I too have not experienced the coughing as a side effect with my quit. Actually, i don't believe that my hubby has either. :) Keep up all the hard work guys and Great Job on Day 30 QuiltTrip! Thanks, Josie. I'm still experiencing other physical side effects of my quit, but for me the most difficult were the mental/behavioral side effects - which already seem to have subsided to only minor occasional annoyances. The physical stuff will run its natural course. This site and the wonderful quitters on it provides the best cessation aid I know of. 24/7 support. You don't need to be having a hard time to appreciate it. Nothing wrong with logging on for a quick reinforcement, to remind myself where I started from, and to encourage quitters who are just starting the journey. SSC kicks butt ;) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/21/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 29 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 533 Amount Saved: $159.5 Life Gained: Days: 4 Hrs: 1 Mins: 47 Seconds: 56

Mary, Every quit is different and yours will be unique! You may never experience the coughing as others have and yes it is ok to feel this good! Always be ready, just in case a crave comes out of nowhere, that nicodemon is sneaky! Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.

Hi Changing - and all of our February Non-Smokers, What a beautiful prelude to Spring weather up here! Sun, temps near 50 degrees, melting snow. Makes a young girl's fancy turn to those garden catalogs. I do have a couple of quit questions, though. 1. Is my quit supposed to feel this great and easy after 4 weeks? Is it just a lull before the 5th, 6th, or other week storm? Or is it a blessing and gift ((((gratitude))))? 2. A little gross, but when can I expect to start coughing stuff up out of my poor, abused lungs? Thanks, Mary My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/21/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 29 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 533 Amount Saved: $159.5 Life Gained: Days: 4 Hrs: 1 Mins: 45 Seconds: 12

Hi Everyone - Just saying hello and congratulations to all of us on another smokefree day. To be honest, I'm kind of nervous about the Spring weather - think it's going to lead to some real challenges...but I've made it this far! How are the rest of you doing?
