See, Legend is really a softy underneath all of his big toughguy talk! He probably does all of the cooking & cleaning for his wife! ;p Now it's time for all of the Februarians to check-in...it seems to me that a bunch of our gang has been M.I.A. for a while...I don't want to start getting worried! Legend: 4/20 you said:
Amazing, doing housework never occurred to me. Not once.
And on 4/24 you said:
He said this might happen the first week or so, while I started to clean house.
Wow, we are amazing women, aren't we? Just look how we turned you around! Hey, you missed a spot over there. LOL Nice stats btw! ICE water? Good Lord, woman, I'm not that desperate. I like my water room temperature, thank you. Stirred, not shaken. Anyway, so I'm having my morning tea, and I load up SSC to see who's beating up the demon today, and all of a sudden I get full-on ashtray mouth. You guys remember ashtray mouth, don't you. That smell and taste in your mouth the morning after smoking the night before? Yech. I still have it as I right this. Weird. Have a wonderfully smoke-free day everyone. Don't get ashtray mouth. Blech. Legend - It sounds like it's nothing processed and no dairy? By the way - as we all know, Tutti is obsessed with water. Well, I just heard (again) that drinking at least 6 8oz glasses of ICE water a day speeds up your metabolism (thus, you lose weight). Hi Tutti, I didn't mean to drop out. Just got busy, and a lot of my energy was locked up getting the diet thing in gear. Basically, it's a very restricted diet: nothing but fresh fruits, fresh veggies, rice, baked/broiled red meat, white meat, or fish. No condiments, sauces, spices, milk, cheese, yogurt, bread, pasta, fun. On top of that there's a shake and about a zillion vitamin pills to take with every meal. Then there's the part you'll really like. You're supposed to drink tons of water. Anyone who is practiced at saying no to nic can handle this. I'll keep you guys up to date on my response. Wow - lots of good news recently on this thread -- Tutti's daughter Kate seems to be getting better (Bailey is the cutest name ever), MomMom is taking a fishing trip, Nurse made it through a real rough patch, etc. Keep hanging in there my friends! Hey everyone! We all survived the weekend smoke free! Yippee for us! Leaving tomorrow for a few days of R & R ...sweetheart and I are going walleye fishing in NY. Legend, wanna come with us? The computer stays home so I won't be around until sometime on Sunday. I'll be thinkin about each and every one of you...especially each time I think "gee this is when I would have had a cig" for whatever reason, and there are lots when you are on a boat in the middle of a lake in the middle of nowhere, trust me! Have a great week everybody!
