Thanks everyone. I'm not feeling so hot tonight (no desire to smoke, it's something personal), but I'm glad I logged on. I'll have to work on the Rewards list as a goal, it's always nice to have something to look forward too. Take up a new interest..........I just can't figure that one out. I was thinking of trying guitar lessons again...... Exercising would be a good one too but I'm not one for exercising (YET), I hope that changes when I get over this hurdle and am not consumed with being a non-smoker (I have a tough time even calling myself a non-smoker!, don't want to be cockey and I've never been one - well since age 14!). I've been trying to rest, not put too much pressure (eg gotta get the laundry done), I've stopped looking at my list of things to do on my daily calendar (which I find stressful). I'm interested because I'm not sure what else to do to reward myself. I'm going to take my Wheaton Terrier in for obedience training - he's having a tough time with his bladder control or something and his previous owner must have abused him badly, he's afraid of everything so I'm going to take my ciggy savings and see what I can do to help him. Thanks in advance. My husband wants one of those, maybe I'll reward him with one when he's saved enough money (his stat and mine are the same, but he's not on the site - he can't type - so I can have my little private Idaho here, which is cool). Well I had my reward tonight. It was already set though.. my youngest son is a little in big brothers big sisters and this week was his anniversary with his big. We decided to have dinner tonight to celebrate. I have been tryint o watch what I eat in fear of following the family lack of fitness line. I had a steak!!!!!!!! YIKES! It was sooooo good too. I have been tryin to eat better things (shhhh Sue, dont tell them about the white chocolate pretzels) I couldnt help it, it was a great day, no cravings!!!!!!!! Except for that steak... lol one week and things are looking up! Take a long, hot soak in the tub. Instead of doing the laundry, curl up and spend some time with a good book. Rent a movie you really want to see, or take yourself to the movies. Simple things for everyday rewards. I had planned my one month reward to be a professional foot massage & pedicure (I'm pregnant with my third...and we find out what it is on Jan. 16th), but my hubby had other things in mind. A week after my month was up, he brought home a wall mountable stereo I'd been lusting after for a good long while, and a deluxe edition CD/DVD from my favorite band, which I'd asked for a few weeks back (I'm a very musical person, it's the one thing I would go absolutely bonkers without). It was so very sweet and supportive of him, especially since he isn't quitting. I'm frustrated because I realize that I threw out my reward list after I got everything that was on it....I'm going to make a new list and keep track of everything. I took a day off work and did "me" things I went for a tan (feels good when it is damp and cold and dark outside) I bought some new clothes I bought my hubby some new clothes I bought new pillows for the couch I went to Ikea and got some great stuff.... I had daily rewards too which included green tea, a movie, going out for supper, t.v. in bed, etc. Rewards are great...........time for a new list!
