Marg's into day four

Marg, I know what you mean. I don't feel like a non-smoker yet either. Boy, there sure is a lot of guilt that goes along with smoking. At least there was for me. Boy you are such a supportive bunch! I feel like I have my own private cheerleading squad! Thanks so much.....your support is just wonderful. Day four is actually going quite well...the best so far. However I continue to be vigilant against those big, bad cravings. I actually did a little dance all by myself in my house at lunch-time today.....celebrating the fact that (I was going to write, celebrating the fact that I'm almost a non-smoker) then I realized, I AM A NON-SMOKER! Yahoody! It doesn't quite feel real yet....I'm not sure why. Whew! Last night was a little tough, but I slogged through. Sleep problems seem to be improving a bit. Still feeling fragile, but still feeling determined. Smoking is not an option. This forum is helping a whole lot....thanks! Marg, I stopped the same day as you did and I just share your determination or, lets say, if for now it's still rather incredible, it just feels like I don't know why I smoked for so long all these years. It just feels great not to be a smoker anymore and I wish you the best. Rai. Listen to Cheermom she has been wonderful to me. There are so many people on and off this site all the time, there is ALWAYS someone here to help. Hang in there and it does get better. Always be on your guard but it does get easier. Sleep does come back to you, the craves ease up, life will only get better and better. Good luck and best wishes Wendi My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/18/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 17 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 436 Amount Saved: $68 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 8 Mins: 18 Seconds: 50
