Dear Monica,
I want to tell you how much your post has helped me. I woke up feeling depressed and possessed. I didn't like who I was or how I was feeling and I didn't like how I was acting toward others. I felt that it was hopeless to try to fool myself into thinking I could quit after 40 years of smoking and even though I had 50 days, I was just going to smoke. But then I read your post. I thought that if you could stay quit through all of that, who am I to throw it all away? You [u]are[/u] strong and your post has touched my heart. I don't know how to tell you in words just how much your sharing your experiences have helped me to stay quit and to get back in touch with the important aspect of all this, which is for us to reclaim our lives and stay in touch with our higher power. I don't post much of the negative thoughts I have because I think they are just passing things, but I want you to know how much you helped me, and others too, I'm sure.
My prayers are with you and I am very grateful that you are sharing this painful experience here in this forum. I hope I have conveyed a little of the impact your strength, hope, and wisdom has on others.
