Dee Checking In- So far, so Good

Well into day two. Not as good as yesterday but not terrible, either. On a scale of 1 to 10, I had a 4-5. I think that's pretty good for day two and I am grateful!

Well, it hasn't been too bad, as a matter of fact, it was a pretty good day. I do not smoke at work so that was nothing new, but after not having my usual 2-3 this morning, I expected to be climbing the walls and that did not happen at all. I quit with the patch before and thought I remembered it being much worse but on a scale from 1 to 10, I may have briefly reached 3. How about you, Jan and Sparky? I hope your day went as well as mine!!! I did catch myself doing a couple of habit type things- starting to grab my cigs to put in the car and then going in the glove box to retrieve them when I got home but, alas, no cigs to be found. I hope it doesn't get worse but, for now, Day 1 is going better than I expected! Dee, I have found it a bit rougher today than yesterday, but I'm hanging in there. Got all my coping tools. Keep strong, Dee and keep posting. I'm doing pretty good, Dee. I work outside the house for a couple of hours every day. Part time I'd guess you'd say. So, instead of getting busy this afternoon, I watched TV.(I will NOT feel guilty, I will NOT feel guilty). I made dinners over the weekend and froze them, so I wouldn't have to cook tonight. Lunches for tomorrow are made and I'm no worse for wear. Maybe my patience is wearing thin over little things as the day progresses, but I will pamper myself with some good tv shows tonight. Glad to hear your day went well, Dee.
