Wow, I just got through reading every single response to this thread. This thread is very interesting! I orignally signed up as dunbarj, well because... it is my of last name and first initial. How boring is that???????? I found the first few days incrediblely difficult. And I needed a change. I wanted to change my quit around. So since the original name didn't stand out, I needed to change that. But, my inspiration for remaining quit, is..... my two daughters. And I like it that people know I am a mother. It gives me a reason to to show them off!!! That's it. My quit name is my nickname mostly, with the 'k' thrown in at the end for my surname. Sushi happens to be my favourite food. In addition, I work for a Japanese company, so it fits (although not many of my co-workers know me by this name). And just to dispel the visual you've come up with . . . . I guess you could get into deep psychological reasons for me using this name, but basically I just liked it. Hi I'm dawghouse we have 6 dogs here on 5 acres and we call our place "The Dawghouse" We have rescued a couple of them. We have a 14 yr old malmute mix, 3 minature pinschers... the dad and 2 of his pups..( Muggsy is 8, Molly & Romeo are 7) Mindy is 3/4 australian shephard & 1/4 borderr collie she is 2 1/2. And Alyese we adopted last yr. she is a 4 yr old toy fox terrier. We also have a rescued cat, 2 goats that needed homes, a goose and 3 chickens.
