Wow - good for you! I'm not sure I'd be that strong yet. Ann - I'm guessing your dog is pretty relaxed, no? lol sushik My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/31/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 26 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 663 Amount Saved: $234 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 13 Mins: 56 Seconds: 51

Smooth move Niks, what to crush em. One of my big fears before quitting was finding a pack someone in the house. I went through every drawer and piece of clothing. Remember when you were strong in your quit and tore up those nasty smokes....I do. Navigator. ;) My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/16/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 12 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 249 Amount Saved: $43.2 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 4 Mins: 26 Seconds: 11

Thank you lady, I had a huge row with my daughter about cleaning her room (shes 17) so she 'left home' with a rucksack on her back.. so I thought,I HAVE to find those Zyban .. instead found the cigarettes. Tore them up put them in the bin. I just thought out of sight out of mind.. I cant risk having a cigarette hanging around. Ugh what a horrible day.

and instead found a packet of cigarettes under the sofa! Now if this was earlier in my quit... but this stage in the game the cigarettes have got broken into tiny pieces.. what a funny feeling i would never ever have broken cigarettes up before.. I might be finally cured! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/12/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 13 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 332 Amount Saved: 97.5 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 4 Mins: 9 Seconds: 40

Sorry to hear about your dog Ann, good to hear that she was ok though. Yesterday was tough, and If I was going to go back to smoking i would have done it yesterday. I wish i could reward myself that would be good huh? Unfortunately this quit came at a time when I had no money anyway, so I had to quit but that means no rewards either. My reward is being able to breath my reward is having change from a fiver when I go to the shops. I have just got a 3,000 pay rise, that is my reward. When I do get paid I am saving for my trip to cyprus so I have to wait until Aug 28th until I finally get my reward, 2.5 weeks in sunny northern cyprus, with spending money! This time a non smoker! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/12/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 14 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 359 Amount Saved: 105 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 6 Mins: 29 Seconds: 6

I found a pack in the car the other day... Gees, I was more tempted than I'd like to admit here. But.. and this is a big butt (especially since I've put on so much weight ;-). I didn't smoke. I thought about what it was like the first few months of this quit and said "crap, where's my damn gum ;-). So, I feel a little bit more each day that this is it, the final quit. I'm done! I'm almost at 5 months.. Ya!!! I wont consider it done for at least the first year.. maybe two!
