Riverdale Man, Just look at those stats, they are amazing, and so are you my friend. You will get through this. 1 day at a time Cuddles It's better to be a non-smoker with an occasional desire for a cig than a smoker with a constant desire to quit...... Hi Phillip. I know that feeling well. Still take those deep breaths. They seem to slow the mind down a bit. So many irrational thoughts. Sounds like it may be time for a bit of an attitude check. Focus on what you have accomplished. You have 107 days quit and that is fabulous! Do you realize how many smokers wish they were where you are right now? Embrace your new found freedom. Your world has changed so much over a short amount of time. Are you breathing? Rewards are very important in the quit. What was your last reward? It may be time to do something for Phillip. Remember in the beginning when you sometimes you just wanted to stay in bed and it was really difficult to face the world. Those days still pop up from time to time. It is all part of the process and you are pefectly normal. Keep protecting your quit. You are in control Phillip. You control those cravings. Laugh them off, they have no control over you. You are a non-smoker now. Get out in the sun and enjoy some fresh air. Keep breathing. You will get through this. Keep reminding yourself of that. When will it pass? It all gets better and every withdrawal symptom disappears on Tuesday. I will try to find Duffis' post that explains all of this. Itwillgoawayeventuallyifyougrityourteeth, kickthecat, chewgumlikethereisnotomorrow, getpissedandpassout. Rinse and repeat tomorrow. Rinse and repeat the next day. Sooner or later I'm convinced we will wake up and things will be normal i.e. no cravings, no thoughts of smoking (my ambition is to wake up one day and go about my business and then go to sleep at night without ONCE thinking about smoking). It SHALL pass :eg: :eg: My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/17/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 79 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,591 Amount Saved: 197.5 Life Gained: Days: 10 Hrs: 7 Mins: 36 Seconds: 12

Hi Phillip, I know exactly what you mean. My adrenalin picked up considerably. Take that amazing energy and do something -- go for a swim, sweep your kitchen, put on some music and dance. OR, assume the meditative pose -- breathe --. Hope this helps!
