Dear Members, We are very pleased to announce the launch of the Depression Program! The Depression Program is a 16-session, interactive, self-guided educational program based on current research in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). Anyone can start with Session 1 by visiting their Session Diary and clicking the link that says: Click here to start your next Session. You will also notice that there has been some significant changes in your Session Diary, and we hope that you find the new tools and exercises helpful and inspiring. The Program will officially launch on Friday September 2,2005(Tomorrow). With this type of upgrade, we will unfortunately experience a delay within the site. The site will be unavailable from 7 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Now that we are launching our program, we need your help in focusing our discussions in this Support Group on the actual program and the various problem-solving techniques and worksheets that are outlined in the course. This may be a bit of a change at first but it will definitely give our group the opportunity to focus on positive change, and it will allow us to help each other as each of us move through the course material. Were very excited to offer you this program and we look forward to our group working together to help each other combat depression! Please remember that although we are here to support each other, do not compare your progress to the progress of others. Each members depression is unique and we will all change at different rates. Let us know if we can help you at anytime, and don't forget the CBT buddies is a great tool for support and assistance. Just remember to keep focused and positive!
