I am taking chantix ....

I have been taking chantix for 3 weeks now....and I just now have been able to not smoke for the past day.  I am having hot feelings when I crave a smoke....I am constantly tired....and I feel like my heart and chest are burning when I crave a smoke......I feel anxious and I jump up and start doing something.......has anyone else had this?

HI ALL ...I AM BACK AND THINKING ABOUT TRYING CHANTIX

Just wanted to drop in and update everyone.......I have done great on the chantix and have been smoke free for a couple of  months now.  I channel my attention to working out and making myself over into a totally healthy person inside and out.  I also have dropped caffeine out of my lifestyle as well.  I go to the gym at least 3 times a week and walk 2 miles on my off days,  I also box....I really enjoy the cardio from the boxing!!  I have noticed that my lungs still need some more healing as they sometimes make me feel out of breath, more the capacity needs to be built up..  I have so much energy now....where as before on chantix I had all I could do to think past making it out of the bed.  I still have days like that but then I think about what I could be doing and I go!  I am about to go off the chantix program and I do struggle with urges, so I am gonna need to lean on y'all now more than ever.  I don't ever wanna look back and start that nasty habit back up!!

HI ALL ...I AM BACK AND THINKING ABOUT TRYING CHANTIX

I have remained smoke free thoughout the Holidays......whew....what a relief!!  I had lots of moments...but made it though!!  I have been smoke free for over 3 months now!!  I am off the chantix in 2 weeks....I am majorly anxious about this for fear that smoking will return.   I need to stay strong and know that wanting to smoke is going to be a part of my life......but actually smoking is a choice I am able to make now and I am chosing not to start up again, I have come to far to turn back now!  I need all of you to pray for me and know that I will be writing on my blog alot more often when off the chantix.  I hope everyone had a great holiday season and to all the future quitters out there........YOU CAN DO IT!!
