The big, bad bogeyman scare tactics don't worry confirmed smokers,- so many of my friends and acquaintances have died of cancer.  Read the statistics.  I had breast cancer over ten years ago and continued to smoke.  So, what prompts smokers to quit?  In my humble opinion quitters quit because it's the right thing to do.  Religionists say that the body is a temple and it is a sin to abuse it.  Many winners have quit for that express purpose.  The biggest incentive now, I think, is the fact that prices have hit the roof and most of us can no longer afford it.  Or people get seriously ill.  The fact that it is no longer the IN thing is encouraging self-respecting smokers to join the ranks of non-smokers to become acceptable to their peers.  So let's forget preaching and scare tactics and encourage others as is done here.  Choice and Change is upon us.  Help not hinder and just love and accept others and their choices.  This is what I have found here at this site.  Religious or Spiritual Minded can pray, sometimes that works.  You are a blessing and you are blessed.
Salute to FREEDOM.

Members,

The next step in changing negative core beliefs is to put the definitions you came up with last week of the negative & positive core beliefs and put them on a scale.

Next, review where you rated yourself and why. Ask yourself if this is really true and how you can take steps to improve your rating.

Any questions?
