Taking care of yourself

Members,

Be active in your daily healing and make it about you!  Pick one day and start from the top. Your mind and body deserve a break, so give in to pampering, sleeping, and healing.

There are many avenues to choose from.  What do you like to do?  What do you want to do?  Do you want to do it alone or with someone else?

Make a list of relaxing and pampering items and activities that please you.  Everyone is entitled to a little break and this is only for you.

Do you want to sleep the day away?
Do you want to incorporate your favorite activity or game?
Do you want to have coffee with a friend?
Do you want a date night? Girls’ night? Boys’ night?
Do you want a pampering day, just for you?

You can make it happen!  Pick a date and run with it. Plan a few events and make the appointments well in advance.  Look forward to doing what you want for a change and reward yourself and your mind and body with relaxation, your way.

Ease yourself of that extra stress and focus on nothing but how good you feel.

Remember if you can’t take a whole day for you, 2 half days will work just as well.  The idea is to take care of you first and the rest will follow.

How are you taking care of yourself?
