Great topic!  All deceased but still would have liked the opportunity...

1.  My paternal grandfather - to answer so many of those long lost family mysteries
2.  My maternal grandfather - to fill in the other half
3.  Tom Hanks - I find him so compelling, think he'd make great conversation!

Oh what a thought provoking thread!! Hmm, off the top of my head, I am going with. 1.Oprah Winfrey- roughly the same age as me, plus I admire her strength, tenacity and determination to succeed. 2. Donald Trump- I love his business style, his abilty to bounce back when all around was falling. 3. Sigmund Freud- often considered someone to be ridiculed, however, I find many of his theories have alot of substance? I just feel he didn't convey them properly.

After many hours thought, I will probably think of far more worth recipients!!

This is a difficult question. There are so many people like would have liked to meet. I'm assuming that I still have a chance meeting those who are still alive. Unrealistic probably.

If I must chose, I would start with the Westerners, since I live in the West.

(1) Zarathustra (older than Judaism & Christianity, but shares a lot of features with them, like a similar Moses story)
(2) Isaac Newton (Epitome of the brilliance of the human mind. Like other theoretical, and non theoretical scientists, he never travel to outer-space, but he understood its physics and mathematics. He probably understood its physics because he understood its mathematics.)
(3) Martin Luther (Capitalism rose with Protestantism--political economy)

I would like to meet Shakespeare just find out if he really wrote all of those works. I'd like to meet Jean Jacques Rousseau and the writers of the Federalist Papers--John Jay, James Madison, and Alexander Hamilton because their ideas and work were seminal in developing modern Western societies.
