It's a brand new day and I am back on board!!! I really want this quit, so I have re-committed myself to it. I went to bed and slept 10 hours, got up, went to work, confessed to some supportive co-workers and they confiscated my nicotine free cigarettes. I feel so much better already. I CAN beat this!

YAY!!! Congratulations on pulling through and rededicating yourself. You are NOT a loser. You can't lose as long as you keep trying and you keep trying, so you never lost :) Keep strong! I quit smoking on July 6, 2006 at 6:00pm. It has been 5 days, 14 hours, 34 minutes, and 55 seconds since I quit. Had I not quit smoking, I would have: * Smoked 112 cigarettes (That's like smoking a 37 foot long cigarette) * Spent $24.00 on cigarettes * Inhaled 1.12 grams of tar * Inhaled 89 mg of nicotine (That's like doing 1,682 hits of nicotine) * Inhaled 1.23 grams of carbon monoxide * Taken an additional 16 hours, 35 minutes, and 40 seconds off my life

Yes, you can beat this. Sometimes when I get bad cravings, I go back to scc workbook and read about how to handle. See them as a wave coming towards you, let it wash over you and disappear. Nothing will make them go away except not lighting another cig..nic or no nic. It will get better.
