Feeling free

Welcome and congratulations for getting started.

I am so impressed with how motivated you sound! That is a great first start. How do you plan to keep the motivation strong if things get tough? How can you remind yourself of this free feeling?

Hi Kickit77,
What an attitude! With an attitude like this, I'm sure your're going to make it in your quit journey. Keep it up. You've made it through hell week and heck week. Onto blah week, but I don't think it's going to be a problem for you.
Stay strong you quitter you.

    Cigarettes Not Smoked

Hello everyone, I am really happy right now. I have not had a cig for 13 days and have not even wanted one since. I started smoking at the age of 19 when everyone I worked with took like 6 cig breaks a day while I kept working. So I joined them to get as many breaks as they did. 9 years later I was still smoking and hated myself for it. I came down with a bad cold and Every drag I took during that time tasted worse, to the point were I lit one and put it out almost immediately. I started to wonder what the hell am I doing? My body is telling me to stop, so I just stopped. I took the 15 left I had in my pack and ripped them up one by one. It felt so freeing to throw them away. So here I am 13 days in and have the attitude of never ever wanting to use a cancer stick ever again. I look forward to using this site for support during the tough times and hopefully helping those in need during their tough times. Thanks for reading. C
