Hello Wnt2bfree.... You can do it! You have done it before and you will can do it again. I remember when I was ready to quit this last time, I found the only time I ever really enjoyed a smoke was when I was having a drink. Other than that I think it had to be my biggest self esteem problem and biggest on going lie I had told. I hated letting people I had just recently met know that I smoked, I would hide it from co-workers, from my husbands family... I felt horrible when I would walk down a street and a teenager or pre-teen or any child for that matter would stare at my cigarette. I saw people pushing a pram and think... geeez how bad does that look. You do feel horrible, horrible inside and out! I know how you feel. Push on and keep your head high! Good Luck!

Hi wnt2bfree,  welcome, and good for you to decide that you are going to quit again.  Log on here everyday and please feel free to yell, shout, or just keep us informed on how your quit is going.

If you haven't already done so go through the program to workout exactly where you will need to be more on your guard, I found this very helpful.

You don't say if you are using anything to help with your quit.

Well that's all for now, and once again welcome and all the best for this quit.

Debby

wnt2bfree,

Good for you! You have a great attitude...if you hang onto it, there is no doubt that you will remain smoke free!
Please also read through the program in order to prepare for your quit (it is also so great to hear that you are coming to the site everyday...good on ya!).
Good luck, and please keep us posted on how you are doing,

I have set a new quit date of 4-1-09.  I am metally preparing myself by visiting this site everyday.  I quit back in 2007 and stayed smoke free for almost a year.  I had a few cigs with some drinks and I've been smoking ever since.  I regret starting again and I hate feeling crappy from smoking.  Thanks for the inspiration, I know I can do it again!

My Milage:

My Quit Date: 4/1/2009
Smoke-Free Days: -8
Cigarettes Not Smoked: -96
Amount Saved: $-25.20
