Hi! I see that you like cooking, and rainy days are the best for baking. I love to cook, too, and filling the house with scents is wonderful for the spirits. Even if you don't want to go to the store, I bet you have the makings for a great casserole or a pot of stew or spaghetti or an quiche-type omelette. I found a recipe for something called a "strata" that I use a lot for dinner or brunch that cooks in the microwave. I could go on, but you get the idea. Or you could always: Mop the floor Clean all the windows Clean the inside of the car Vacuum the rug Clean out a closet Wash all your sweaters/jackets Do the laundry Dump out all your socks and throw out any singles Sort the undies drawer and throw out any torn or old undies Sort all the pots and pans and put lids with the pan it goes to Sort Tupperware as above Sweep out the garage Clean the garage floor Clean out the garage Clean the bird cage/dog bed/cat box Get the broom and take out all cobwebs in corners Make bread (kneading is good for relieving aggression) Make play dough and make something with your kids I hope this sparks some ideas of your own, just don't smoke, NOPE = not one puff ever! We have had rain for days too but we need it - we are in a drought. Can you go to the movies? Walk around the mall? Read a book? Delay and distract yourself as much as you can. Any crafty projects? DH and I are going to make some soap tomorrow!! this is so normal, just choose the way you deal with it - and good for you for posting :D hang tough, this will pass and the other side is awesome. Hi smlfree, Your are in Hell week, a rough day is to be expected. Redirect your thoughts and keep them positive. Drink water, deep breath. Go for a walk, do anything but smoke. It will get better and you will be glad this is behind you. Hi smlfree, Hang in there, you can do this. I know how you feel because it's been raining here since yesterday morning, but keep your chin up because the sun is starting to peek out. It does get better. Take care and have a great smoke free day!!!
