230 days and I feel great

16 years ago 0 19 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Hang in there. I used to think about / dream about cigarettes for several months after I quit. Like you, I was sad and missed them badly at times. Then, it all just started to fade away. Like it was another you in another life that was a smoker. So, stay active, stay positive and it will come. Well put, Scott. This is what non-smokers will be doing in the future... exercise and enjoying the fresh air and savouring food and not just shovelling it as fuel.... Cigarettes Not Smoked

It is not a magic number but I FEEL GREAT. Raced my bike last weekend and was flying like never before!!! I don't think about smoking, don't dream about it, don't even remember why I did it. Just truly amazing way to live and feel so alive and free. Oh yes, I did buy myself a new expensive bike and I am lovin' it. Lovin wine, the way food tastes, not being smelly. Why did we ever get hooked on such a dumb habit. All you new quitters: Stay with it as there is a whole new world out there.
