I am now well in to my 3rd month smoke free - with almost all triggers present i am able to cope well. This weekend i wll break the 70 mark - verysatisfied witht this. Got rid of nicorette on tues bught a new car WEDS , and have not have nicorette since - the significance of not ahve anything ot have to carry, cigs, lighters or mathces. - then making sure I had ennough nicos for the time. NOW comletely free at last from all these things- feel like a million bucks - keep it up everyone - its so worth it - hang in, hang in , hang in......

jazphoto - I has been thinking about getting a new car for a while - I just sped up the process because of the smell in the old car. I highly recommend doing it - its a great reward, but and even better motivator to stay quit.
Thinking back to when i smoked - the most annoying part was my own smell, the clothes, hair, hands, car etc.

Wow, congrats! Seeing your stats gives me tons of encouragement! Was this new car a quit gift? I am asking because I was actually thinking of getting a new car in a few months. My nose is so much more sensitive to smoke now and every time I get in my car, I smell stale cigarettes...BLEH! Really though, you are doing awesome and it must feel so good to be able to deal with all of your triggers with a clear mind. Keep it going and keep the smoke-free days growing!!!
