Sparky thanks for the reminder..
Rewards are so important in the beginning and later in our quits too..I really haven't rewarded myself in a long while, so starting today I am going to work on fixing that..Sounds like a good time to take a little vacation from it all and spend some time enjoying myself for now..

Replacing the negative thoughts left over from yesterday,

Ta Ta for now.
Take care...

Sparky,

Rewards are SO IMPORTANT during the start of your quit.  Later on, when you don't even think about smoking, then it's nice but you wouldn't notice that much either way. So NOW is the time for big gestures...tomorrow will look after itself .

Hi Sparky,

Rewards are incredibly important; many people don't realize how important. I think the ring sounds like an excellent choice! I hope you enjoy it and I hope it acts as a touch stone for you to remember why you are fighting this.

Keep posting! I am enjoying reading your posts and threads.

In the pass on many of my quits it was suggested to reward yourself.  I did some but not much.  This time I am going to.  I had 3 weeks on Sunday and I ordered a ring.  Now it is on my finger I look at it and it tells me I am a non-smoker.  I am not going out and buy something big all the time, but I will make sure when I do it will reflect my quit.  I will still treat myself to my Turtle Mocha lattes..  I really want this to be final quit, so I am going to do what others have done.  In my book they are winners.

Keep the Quit
