The week-end

Dear Sparky,

Many people find the weekend more difficult than other times, as they are not at work and have more time on their hands.  Others find it easier as they have more time to choose what to do with their time.  There is also the aspect of socialising, when many find themselves challenged in a happy group of friends.

I think there used to be a Weekend Parade as well as a Monday morning one.  Either way, enjoy all you are going to do this weekend!
Be a non-smoker, and ex-smoker and quitter all at once!!!

It's a good idea to stay busy in those first weeks of quitting. Gives you something to think about besides...the obvious.

It sounds like you have this quit down Sparkey! I hope you take some time to celebrate all your hard work this weekend.

Knowing what coping tools you will use before high trigger situations is important. Members, please share how you plan to cope with cravings over the weekend?

Ok it is Friday and we are looking forward to the week-end.  What your plans and what are going to use as coping tools?  I plan on doing a few things around the house and then be around family.  Coping tools will be coming here and read, reach out to friends, drink lots of ice water and exercise and meditate.  But I will NOT smoke, because I am a non-smoker .  I think that is what is different; I never called myself a non-smoker I was always quitting.  Interesting .  See you all Monday for our stat parade.

Keep the Quit
