Day 28

Don't be scared of slipping Sydney, with your great attitude you are winning this quit. But don't get complacent either, you cannot afford another puff ever.

Typically around this time as the cravings lessen, there is a huge temptation to try "just one" (some people say it is the Nicodemon being sneaky, but I prefer to think it's our addicted subconscious playing mind games with us)

All you have to do is keep on racking up the days and saying NOPE.

Your blog says you are planning perfume for your one month - have you chosen one? I shall be looking out for your one month post in the stats board.

Just think, when all the new quitters climb on board tomorrow, you will already be nearly a month up on them.

BTW, great quit video

You are kicking ash sydney!  Sick and grossed out = GOOD.  Keep rocking the sick and grossed out thing.  The new ways of coping are so essential - if you're already getting into the nitty gritty of that you are so much farther along than you think.

It seems like you know yourself well - stay true to you, and keep celebrating, you're doing great!

I am doing pretty good, I probably think about smoking a little bit. I don't really get cravings much really.

I am scared still about slipping, but you when I think about smoking I actually feel sick and grossed out, so its all good. I get alot of worry thoughts about slipping and stuff. Sometimes I miss smoking but it goes away and I am glad I quit. You find new ways of coping with stress, boredrom, anger and all that without resorting to smoking. Quitting forces you to do that which is really a great thing for me really. I am proud of myself. :-)
