Secondhand smoke and children

15 years ago 0 2606 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Hi members,

I have uploaded a video to my profile. I find it very powerful because it reminds us of how smoking can affect children. I discuss the video in my blog as well, you can check it out on my blog! What are your thoughts on the video? Is this video powerful to you? What was the take home message for you?

Sticking with the topic smoking and the effects on children, it has been found that children exposed to secondhand smoke are at an increased risk for lung cancer, even if they never smoke themselves. You can read more about these findings in the medical news article titled "Secondhand Smoke in Childhood Raises Adult Lung Cancer Risk" at the link below.

Do these findings motivate you to stick with your quit? I'd like to read about your thoughts.
