Congrats on your week smoke free Debby!

I remember that on my first week it was fun eating lemons, cherries and tangerines, just about anything tart and tangy.

Debby, so glad to hear your day 6 went well!  Your increased senses of smell and taste are a wonderful side effect of not smoking.  I can smell fabric softener on clothes, the aroma of fresh flowers, the wonderful smell after rain.  And yes, food will taste different.  I noticed that I could eat spicy food before with no problems.  Now, I can really taste the spice!  Congratulations on enjoying the different stages and all the things you couldn't do when you smoked!

Well it's getting near time for me to call it a day and go to my bed.

It's been a good day, the dinner made by my family was a real treat, and I noticed that my food is starting to taste different, and  that my sense of smell is also improving.

These are things that I never realised that I had lost, I just thought that was how it was. So glad that I am on this quit as this time I am enjoying the different stages, Still with a slight dread but more with a wonderment of what will I realise I have been missing because of my smoking today.

Hope that everyone had a good weekend and that things haven't been to bad.

Debby
