A MAJOR milestone

WOW! Nice! The first time I went out after I quit, I pulled into a parking lot, and opened the door, and there was a full pack just laying there on the ground! I backed up and ran them over.. 3 times. ;) My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/17/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 559 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 41,925 Amount Saved: $10,481.25 Life Gained: Days: 49 Hrs: 22 Mins: 10 Seconds: 45

Audrey, I'm glad you remembered that. I went for DAYS with that cig laying on the table I was so afraid to touch it. To tell truth, there were times during those two days I had that pack in my bag that I forgot it was there. Yet, I still have cravings. I just don't give in to them. Try, I remember your first experience with this. The nice customer who left one for you and you vacuumed it up because you were too afraid to smoke if you touched it with your fingers :gasp: Nice Job! Proud of you :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/16/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 375 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,500 Amount Saved: $1,050.00 Life Gained: Days: 37 Hrs: 13 Mins: 58 Seconds: 19

Tryagain, Urges to smoke will appear but you must fight through. Congrats on resisting the urges! Keep up the great work! Sylvie, Bilingual Health Educator

For any of you who remember me, I'm the whiner and complainer with daily cravings that just never ended. Despite that I never had a cig, although carried the NRT on way too long but it helped. Here it is. I found a full pack of cigarettes. I was outside waiting to be called into a restaurant for dinner. Right there on a patio table was this pack. The urge to go over there and pick it up to see if anything was in there was simply more than I could battle. I picked it up and it was FULL. I put it in my handbag and carried that pack around for two days - before I threw it away. Never had a single one. It can be done. It can be done even if you have cravings that make you want to go to bed and pull the covers up over your head.
