Here here duffis looking under the hood of my car gives me an anxiety attach.Seems to me that things were a lot less complex 50 years ago and like you thoughts of smoking still appear from time to time but they disappear just as fast.Glad to hear you and Pete survived the flu at our age we don't need smoking to complicated things. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/20/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 248 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,464 Amount Saved: $2,480.00 Life Gained: Days: 56 Hrs: 14 Mins: 43 Seconds: 22

Interesting Mr Bear! :p Stress and trying to make anything work these days can trigger an urge to smoke or kill. Life sure ain't what it was 50 years ago and now you need a masters degree to get a glass of water that don't contain 50 million bugs. I still to this day deal with the occasional urge to have a smoke but they get farther and farther apart. I know that I will not smoke again but..........I also know that every now and then the thought will cross my mind. I just deal with it and remind myself that I just don't smoke any more. Keep up the great quit. I know I know somebodys going to say so what whats the old man babbling about now.Well it's like this.In the past that job would have taken at least 3 hr's with all the cursing and swearing and smoke breaks to calm me down.Today it took an hour no cursing no swearing and no smoke breaks.Ain't life grand. ;p My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/20/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 247 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,446 Amount Saved: $2,470.00 Life Gained: Days: 56 Hrs: 9 Mins: 56 Seconds: 21
