This goes without saying however for reassurance lets have it said again. More than likely you know of, or have heard of, someone who successfully quit smoking. These ex-puffers are not running around thinking about smoking all the time, else they wouldnt be exs; it is just not possible and does not happen.
We too have pondered if the day will ever arrive, when we would forget about smoking. The answer to this question is an unmistakable yes, no ands, ifs, or buts about it.
I will go it a step further and say, you will have a very difficult time picturing yourself with a cigarette in hand, ever again. Yes, it gets that good, that is the aim, the goal, the outcome. It is the way that it will be.
And today, or soon after, you will wake up, later to realize, that the smoke thought DID NOT wake with you.
