Print out the list and keep a quote in each room! It is great inspiration and it can help motivate and validate your quit :) Josie, Support Specialist

Thanks Mastermind! I'm glad that those words help you. I've used them often myself ;) Here are a couple more for you... When I smoked, I wanted a cigarette all of the time; now that I don't, I only want a cigarette some of the time. It's all about choice and I choose not to smoke, just for today. Everyday is one day closer to never feeling this way again. Those are the things I said to myself over and over again in the early quit. You are doing just great!!! Keep it up. below are some quotes i liked from some of you ; they made a difference to me.. I am one puff away from a pack a day. Lainey While some people lose their long-term quits during stressful times, it almost seems more common for people to lose their quit during a weak moment. Windy "As long as I don't light that next cigarette, I've got it made!" Lady It's a tragedy that so many are getting sick from smoking. It's also never a mild case of anything you hear about. The illnesses are accompanied by words like chronic, life threatening and terminal. The cost is too high... Tom A crave won't kill you, a cigarette will . Rainee and Rusty And a wad of weeds rolled in white paper controlling our lives??!! Rainee and Rusty I don't have another quit in me so I just don't light up the first cigarette. Lady We all know that as smokers we are playing Russian Roulette with our lives. Mister ED There are so many benefits of quitting...well, okay. NO stinking, good breathing, no coughing, no gagging, no running out of breath, no stopping anything to smoke, moneymoneymoney, NO SMOKING PERIOD!!! Anna I kept my 'reasons' to quit right where would keep my cigarettes. So when not thinking and reach to my shirt pocket to grab one I was instantly reminded of the reasons why they wern't there anymore. John in NC Time and not smoking are the only things that get us through the difficult time of quitting. Lady I put so much effort into this and I am going to keep going with it. Cindy Sparky Do you really want to do hell week again ??? I mean really do you remember what it was like ?? 1939bear My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/15/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 15 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 120 Amount Saved: $12.00 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 7 Mins: 4 Seconds: 18
