Thanks, Anna. I actually keep more track of the cigarettes not smoked than the days, I find it more motivating somehow & I was proud to see that 200. I know, how could anyone? I am absolutely mortified whwn I think of clients coming into my office right after I'd had a smoke, or my kids' friends getting a whiff of that. Gross. My husband and I were out shopping one day and a women walked past me who obviously smoked. I about gagged at the smell as I acknowleged the stench. He reminded me that I USED to smell like that. I was absolutely mortified! How in the world could he stand smelling me all the time???? Hey, Dee. Thanks. There is no "hopefully", my friend. If Monday is your quit day, then you quit on Monday. 10 days from Monday, you will have 10 days. Everybody here KNOWS, not just hopes, you can do it. You are doing so good !!! Hopefully Monday (Quit Day) I will be able to do as good. I almost feel bad that you have 10 days under your belt already and I haven't started yet. Keep up the good work, the incentive for me is great. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/28/2007 Smoke-Free Days: -4 Cigarettes Not Smoked: -40 Amount Saved: $-8.00 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 0 Mins: 0 Seconds: -38592

Isn't it great to know that you don't smell like a dirty old ashtray anymore?! When my co-workers come in from smoking, the stink is so strong that I can smell it across the room (and I used to smell just like that) Everyday I thank God that I don't smell gross anymore. I plan on rewarding myself with some new perfume when my quit reaches one month!!!! unhooked, Good for you! Your senses are now heightened and many smells will not be the good ones. Invest in some smelly candles and a great car freshener :) Josie

Hi I still don't mind the smell of a cigarette, unless it is stale and then its horrible. Thats only if I am near someone who is smoking. I don't like the smell in my house anymore or my car. Is that weird. I do realize how silly I looked with a smoke hanging out of my mouth or when I see someone trying to do two different things and smoking at the same time. They keep on trying even when the smoke is getting in their eye and its burning, but they can't put that smoke down! I realize now just how many things I did that made no sense. But to us smokers, it made all the sense in the world. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/1/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 83 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,075 Amount Saved: $415.00 Life Gained: Days: 8 Hrs: 20 Mins: 15 Seconds: 31

Hi, everybody. This is the strangest thing. I was driving to work this morning, chewing on my coffee straw & stopped at a light. The driver in front of me was smoking & I could see the clouds of smoke in his car when he exhaled. I could also se it puffing out his open window (can't believe I used to kid myself that opening the car window made my car & me less smelly). Anyway, my windows were closed & there is no way I could have smelled the smoke. BUT I DID, & it made me gag & choke & sneeze. My nose was running, my eyes were streaming & I thought I was going to throw up in my own lap. I had to go way slow when the light changed to let him get far ahead of me. Everybody behind me was honking & mad at me but I didn't care, I wouldn't have been able to see to drive if I'd stayed close to him. I am such a non-smoker & I so love it!
