Thanks, my husband has been on it before and it worked well. He went off because he felt good and it took a long time for him to accept the fact that he needed it again. He also has a high stress job. Thanks for your post. It is good to know that this is good medicine. :)

I've been wrestling with Major Depression and anxiety for about five years now and I was on Remeron at one point for about a year. For me, it was very sedating which was actually what I needed because I had been in such a high anxiety state for so long(I had a high stress life and death job) that my body "recognized" this as normal and when therapy and biofeedback started working and I got more relaxed I got terrible panic attacks because my body no longer accecpted a more relaxed state as normal. The Remeron got me past that stage--then I changed medications to something less sedating, but I think I would have never gotten to be as recovered as I am now if I hadn't been on the Remeron for that period

Has anyone taken Remeron? What do you know about this drug for depression?
