Negative Thought Patterns

12 years ago 0 619 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Hello Ashley. I have been ausent from this program for a while and did the 9 week depression program. I did not know why but I stopped doing the CBT activities and now the symptoms of depression got worse. I am suffering with my negative thoughts on a daily basis and want to relearn a way to decrease these negative thoughts which disturb my life so much.

One year ago I had a nervous breakdown and since then my life has been really difficult. I consulted different doctors and was wrongly diagnosed with a bipolar disorder. I was taking medicine for the bipolar disorder and ended much worse. Now I know that I have depression and need to treat this condition in order to get better. I am visiting a therapist with talk therapy and plan to do CBT activities on my own with the help of this program.

Members,

Today will be our last discussion on negative thought patterns. Over the last two weeks we have reflected on our individual negative thoughts, tracked and learned more about them and created a plan to decrease them.

Continue to focus on this topic working towards achieving your goal and keep tracking your progress. You may see improvements in some areas but not in others. Keep your plan updated and modify as you need to along the way.

If you are encountering difficulties, please feel free to ask questions.

Ashley, Health Educator
