No Crying

Are you on any medications? I know some of them will make you feel like you can't cry. Zoloft is one, I think Celexa is one, I know there are many others. I specifically asked my doctor for something that would make me stop crying all of the time and was given Zoloft. I got that same feeling that I couldn't cry which is what I wanted, but it made me so tired that I could hardly do anything and I felt like I was in a fog all of the time so I had to stop taking it. I agree that you should tell someone about the voices. You should write down anything out of the ordinary that you have been feeling and tell your doctor.

Its, Thank you for sharing. be sure to write your thoughts and emotions within a journal and take the depression test. Present this information to your doctor for review. Thsi may help better assess your situation. Hope this helps, Josie ____________________________________ The Depression Center Support Team.

Hi, Sometimes I will go a long time without crying and then I'll watch something sad on TV and competely lose it, way out of proportion to what I'm seeing. I guess that's the way I let things out. If you are hearing voices that are distinct and separate from your own inner voice, I think you may need to let someone know. We all hear thoughts in our minds, kind of like mentally talking to yourself. But if you believe the voices are coming from someone other than you, you may need to touch base with a professional. Hey, all I can say is enjoy those good days when they come. Are those times when you feel like you're dying panic attacks? And if so, are you being treated for them? Take care.

So I need to know if it is normal that I can't cry anymore. Ok, I guess I could cry, but when I wnat to cry I get the feeling that I can't do it. Is that ok? The only time I have been able to cry is when I am to the point where i can't take anything else and I want someone to hold me, and tell me it will be ok. I am also starting to hear people talking to me when they really are not talking to me at all. Is that really bad? And you know whats crazy, today was the best day I have had in a long time. And I only felt like I was dying about three times or so. Sad huh? Oh well, this too shall pass, and God is holding me up, or atleast I hope he is.
