Hi, I had the same problem till a few months ago. Now I don´t have.
What I did was using chalenge thoughts while I was training, and I didn´t stopped or gived up training. I trained always on a confortable zone to gain confidence, not increasing too much the intensity. Little by little my negative thoughts gonne away and I could increase the intensity of my training.
Also helped me a lot to focus on training exercices, being interested in sport nutrition, fitness and goal exercices. So that when I was training I focused on my evolution on training instead of being worried on physical symptoms I could have.
I was tinking that I had a asthma problem! But I never have probleme whit astma. So When I fell that I could not breath right. I Think I will die. Now I know that is only fear but I can't stop de spiral of anxity !? Do you have a suggest ?
I think avoiding training would likely just reinforce the fear. What are you thinking of before you have a panic attack. Many people who experience panic attacks when they exercise due so because of the sensations they feel in their body. For example, someone can feel an increased heart rate and think "Am I having a heart attack?" This fear can then spiral into a panic attack.
What is your experience though?
Davit, makes a great point too. Are there any physical reasons for the panic attack? Dehydration and fatigue can trigger a lot of uncomfortable feelings.
I have panic atact when a do sport. I run a lots of miles this summer. Maybe I over traine my self. Now the last 3 Times I when training I had a panic atact. Should I stop training, I don t whant to avoid but this situation start panic?
