Hi Ashley,

I suppose I could try it either way.  "Expression" is important, isn't it?  That would mean "sitting in it" would be valuable, since it would validate, in the absence of another.  If I was angry, the support I would wish, is that "mirroring" that others provide, as human beings.

Following the anger log of last week, I discussed this with my mentor, and it wouldn't be productive to stay in the same place for long, especially with an emotion which saps one of energy.  I was reading about decluttering the other day, and the creative author suggesting that "sentimentality" has to have boundries, in her reference to cleaning, and keeping things.  Thoughts are things too, aren't they?

What I tried, was playing some music to "chill", and I feel more productive

I'm not sure hugs...  I guess it would depend. Sometimes it's good to "sit" in a feeling and not rush through it.  Other times it's better to turn your mood more positive.

What do you think?

Hi Ashley,
I was going to make a joke about how often my mood changes.

I actually have a question about music, since often members are speaking of our moods changing.
To live optimallyis matching or mirroring my mood helpful, or should I choose a song to match the mood I wish to switch to

Yes of course.

Did you have another good song come up?

Hi Ashley,

It's also ok for any body else to share this song, or any others...or change their mind - right

I was feeling awful this morning, since things just weren't going my way, so "it seems".

Listening to Elvis Presley sing  "Suspicious Minds" made me feel better, and laugh at the title
