Panic Attacks again

5 years ago 0 32 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0

Hiya Tulip!

Welcome to the group! I have just finished session 3. Yay! So far so good.

Panic Attacks are so scary I know. I have found when I am less anxious overall I experience fewer panic attacks. So far I think the program as helping with that! I also use deep breaths and self talk like you. I would be super interested to hear other suggestions from other people too! Thanks for posting this Q!

Hi Tulip22 - Thanks so much for signing up and for sharing you story. I noticed that you hadn't completed any of the program sessions. When you complete a session the graphics under the space for you avatar will be coloured in. My suggestion i for you to you read through Session One of the Anxiety Module (the one with the ribbons) and take the short quiz at the end. This should help answer a lot of the questions you have in your post.

Thanks again for sharing your story, and please feel free to contact me through this program's private messaging feature if you have any other questions.

Cheers!

Hi all

I decided to join this group as I had another bad panic attack last night. I thought I had them under control but apparently I don't. My panic attacks started in my 20s while I was away for school. I saw a counselor at school and managed to control them with breathing and self talk. I haven't had panic attacks in years. Over the last month I had 3 panic attacks. I had almost forgotten how scary they were. I hope this program can help me get back on track because I don't want to feel like that ever again! How does everyone else control panic attacks? do you know how to prevent them and what causes them? I would love to chat with peeps who k now what I'm talking about.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend without too much anxiety

Cheers
