Hearing my name called when I wake up

I have this happen as well. I have them upon sleeping as well. If it gets to the point where you don't want to go to sleep or can't sleep because of them, I went to see someone but I was special case.

I get this too! Once I figured out what it was it made it way less scary. I find I get it more often when I over sleep. Did you notice that too?

Well part of it is stress due to your environment or stressful works. If you think you can find time for going to gym or a yoga class then let it try. These thing could be a big help for your stress.

Hi MEganIsBack,

Google auditory hypnopompic hallucinations. There is a lot of info on this. It is relatively common. I have experienced something similar myself.

Are you sure you weren't dreaming just before you woke up?

I hear my name called when I wake up but nobody is calling my name. I am guessing this is due to severe stress and anxiety.
