Hi eles7,

I would suggest consulting with other medical health practitioners.  Perhaps you can a second or even third opinions from other doctors before deciding what to do?  Remember, in the end it is your choice - it is just important to get as much information as possible to make an informed decision.

Perhaps other members have been in a similar situation to yours and will share their experience to add to your list of options.

I was wondering if anyone had any insight into new medications. I will be 27 next month and my doctor wants to start weening me off of my medication because I can't be on it if I decide to have children. I have tried to battle my disorder without before, and both times I was unsuccessful. I unfortunately have come to terms with the fact that I will probably be on medication for the rest of my life but I don't want it to hinder me from having children.
