So far so good, No carry over from yesterday and no negatives circling around causing anxiety.

Now to push it a bit. Exposure. Last time I did this I sweat quite a bit but managed to keep the anxiety level down. Since there will be two triggers (at least) today it will be interesting to see if thinking happy things can keep them from opening. If this proves too easy I will throw in a negative thought just to see what the reaction is. Of course it will be negative and cause some anxiety but I wonder if the overall good mood can keep it from being recorded in memory at the top or if it will just be recorded as having happened and sink to the bottom of the bag. It should do the latter as this is what would happen in normal non Hyper vigilant people. They probably wouldn't even notice it.

I wish I could draw this with lines and arrows to show the paths it takes and the effects it has on it's way. I can do it on my CAD but it would be to small to read as an ativar.

I'm going to start the day in a good mood no matter what. That means ignoring the pain in my leg and the snow on the ground. I haven't been to the kitchen yet to see what Thomas got into. I don't think I left anything out. A cup of coffee should get me started.

Davit, I wanted to let you know that I am reading your posts and thinking of you - even when I can't write.  Sometimes I check the forums using my daughters itouch and I can't type but I can wish you well from the other side of the internet!

Hi Davit,

I'm sorry you were not feeling good last night. It sounded like you had a good plan on how to address it.

How are you feeling today?

I lost my good mood this evening. I had help but that is beside the point. When it went all the negative flooded back in. Along with some anxiety and anxiety symptoms. On top of that the pain became more of a focus and intensified.

There may be something to this theory of mine that a good mood keeps the memory positive and a positive memory keeps the anxiety away and helps to keep the mood good.

I've vented and want to end positive and I'm going searching for positive pleasant memories so I can get the good mood back.

Davit,
It good to hear your on the mend..This idea of starting the morning with good thoughts is a very good idea. This is something that could really help everyone here on the site..Thanks for posting your experience with it here.

Went to town today even though I didn't want to. Physically it was hard. Twenty feet was the farthest I could walk without having to sit down. A couple of times it was farther than that. I didn't feel like using a wheel chair. Mentally I started the morning with a hot shower and a smile and kept it even through the pain on the xray table. I talked to a few people.
There is no sign of a break but I have so much metal in that leg it is hard to xray. Blood tests were fine but then I have been on antibiotics for over a week. It could be passing. Still there is a lot of pain. This will pass, and it is not triggering panic.
Thinking good thoughts in the morning seems to make positives in the memory more accessible. I will be continuing this trend to see if it is really working.

Davit,
I hope you got some sleep last night and are feeling a little better today..Your hanging in there and fighting the negative thoughts with things that bring pleasant thoughts like coffee and cinnamon buns..Another positive thought you mentioned is Home Support is coming today. Hang in there Davit, help is on the way..Which is a positive too...

Doing good still considering how anxious I was yesterday at the same time. Pain level is the same but medication is half and it is not triggering anxiety like last night. Still smiling. Now if I can start the morning off with this feeling it should improve the chances of a positive day no matter how sore I am. Had some difficulty standing to make cinnamon buns but they were worth it. Talked to sunny too, she is visiting her son and his children. Restless tonight but I'm still in a good mood. Tired though from the pain. Positive thought? Well I will sleep won't I.

Davit.
