Well, at the beginning medication did help a lot to allow me to study the CBT program and understand what it was that I was going through.

Secondly, the relaxation and visualization techniques - still use them.

Thirdly, the beauty of the world, a natural curiousity of how things work, geography, different cultures and of course, all the animals.

1. Remembering that there's always tomorrow. Things are always changing.
2. Expressing! (By singing, dancing, making art, writing in my journal, crying, yelling, talking and letting it all out.)
3. Listening to other's stories (by coming on this site & reading books about people with anxiety disorder) and realizing that I'm not alone.

I have more than 3.
4. Getting distracted in a healthy way! (TV(healthy?), other's stories, my cat, gardening, expressing, family, reading) It's helped me let go.
5. Doing something and realizing that I did. Giving myself credit even for the little things. Exposure and practice.
6. Reflecting on myself. Learning to know & love myself.
