You know what . This might seem odd , but when im poorly i get less anxious . I think its because i have something else to concentrate on . I dont really get 'sick' that often just the normal winter colds etc . Hope your much better now Diva ( love your name )

Hello, Wow since last friday, I have been sick. I mean sick to the point of not getting out of bed! Missed my classes and couldn't do any schoolwork. Now, I still can't get anything done, I am sooo under the weather. Except I must admit I am stressing. But just typing this is making me nauseous and dizzy...Bleh. Anyway, later guys.

Hi Brenna, Thanks so much for the warm welcome. I found what i was looking for through my Session diary. Again, thank you very much. I totally agree, you should never put anything in your body without first consulting your doctor. I actually took the suppliments to my doctor and then to the pharmacist before i started taking them to make sure they were ok. Again, thank you for the warm welcome. and yes, i will only do one session a week. I just wanted to review session 1 again. Tiki.

Hi Tikithyme, Welcome to our support community and thanks for taking some time to tell us a little bit about yourself. To start working through the sessions go to your Session Diary and under today's date you can click on "Continue with Program". We encourage you to work through one session a week but you can also work through then as your schedule allows. Before taking any medication or supplements, we strongly encourage you to speak with your doctor. Brenna, Bilingual Health Educator

hello Diva. I'm new to this site, very new. Anyhowwww i was looking for an answer as to how to get back to review everything i read in the first packet. So, If anyone could tell me i would really appreciate it. Secondly, I came across your post as i was searching. I'm 45 and have suffered from panic disorder and agoraphobia since i was about 21. About two months ago *after ten years of "thinking" i was cured this nonsense started all over again. I was Depressed !!! not feeling a little blue, i mean from morning til night body rushes, head spinning not caring but caring "like you" depressed. I've spent hundreds of dollars online looking for something, anything to help me. I went to my doctors because i read that being difficient can also bring on depression. I went to the store and grabbed some centrum silver. took my first vitamin and within two hours my mood had lifted. Of course it's been a roller coaster of ups and downs but i'm keeping faithful and hopefull. I also went to this place online that sells a product called "amoryn". It's an all natural antidepressent/anxiety suppliment. I received my order monday of this week and started taking them on tuesday. I'm a wuss so i started with one a day until i saw how it effected me. The daily recommended dose is two capsules a day. I could just be completely nuts. But, between the centrum and the amoryn i am starting to feel better. I'm here on this site though because after the depression my panic disorder returned full blown. I actually had to quit my job as a teachers assistant. I'm also a rock n roll singer. I had to take leave of my band until i can get this under control also. I think with this site and support plus the suppliments i can beat this. just thought i would let you know about the vitamins and the amoryn. they also have seradyn which is an all natural anti anxiety suppliment. that works well for me if i'm home, but i took one yesterday thinking it was the magical suppliment and it through me into a panic attack while taking my son to get an application. i'm sorry i wrote so much ...but i really do believe in the centrum to lift the mood and i'm thinking the amoryn so far for me is working as well. with all of this said, if you or anyone else on here can tell me how i can get back to the first part of this program i would appreciate it. I drove today for about an hour "driving gives me anxiety" but i can't remember if it said i need to spend three hours a day doing this or three hours a week. thanks so much Lori "tikithyme"

Hiya Sue f, Thank you for taking the time to reply to me.I saw my therapist a bit more lately and that is helping. I am having a kind of burn-out or depression. I hatwe those words so let's just say I have the blues a bit lately. It comes from working so hard all the time and being so tired all the time. My therapist suggested I work less and have more fun and rest more. Looks like he thinks just like you :) I am taking your advice and his and I have planned to give myself one day off a week until the end of my school year no matter what. Also, I have made arrangments with my husband so I can take a month off after the school year is done before I go work. Then we will see what happens. I continue applying what i learn on the panic center to deal with my anxiety. Now I need to take care of my case of the blues. So rest and fun one day a week! And yes, I need to take more time to sleep properly and I will! Thank you for the advice :) Got anymore? Any advice for finding a good balance for dealing with my "blues" and my anxiety all at once would be appreciated. I find it difficult. If I don't take time I get more blue, if I take time I fall behind and get anxious. So any advice on how to deal with both would be most welcome :) But hey, I am hanging in there and the end of April will come eventually :) -Diva

Diva, what about giving yourself one period off per week, maybe one evening, or one day at the weekend, so that you can have that time to look forward to ? Also then you know that you are 'allowed', so hopefully shouldn't feel guilty about it. You really can't work 24/7, its not good for anyone !!! If you really, really can't manage a complete day, what about a nice long lie in on the weekend ? And don't underestimate the power of a good nights sleep !!! I think its one of the very under-rated things, but so very, very important. Quite often when I'm really stressed I will have a sleeping tablet on a Friday night so that I sleep well and don't have to get up so early on a Saturday. I find that I really look forward to that all week, and don't have any hang ups about it as I only take a sleeping tablet that one night of the week. What a difference it makes !!! Good luck Diva
