Hello!
I have been browsing this site for a few weeks and find it awesome!  I gave up all alcohol for Lent on Ash Wednesday (March 5).  I have a pattern of daily drinking (usually wine) and have felt guilty and ashamed of my drinking for a long time now.  I am not sure whether I want to abstain from alcohol permanently or dramatically decrease my drinking, but I am very committed to making a change.  I am looking forward to learning more about myself going forward, especially through the remainder of the Lenten period (until Easter Sunday), during which I am 100% sure that I will not consume any alcohol and will be able to reflect on my future goals with respect to drinking.
