Excellent response Tiana... can't add anything more except to reiterate that we are here pulling for you Athena with all we've got.  Be gentle with yourself lady.  Be gentle.  You deserve that much.  Trust me... you do.  Know our thoughts and postive vibes are coming your way.  Let us know how it goes...............

Althena,

Good to see your goals for tomorrow. I assume you are more comfortable keeping this to yourself for now... do you have a friend you can confide in?

I think it is pretty normal to get a bit 'worse' when you recognize a 'problem'. Don't beat yourself up too much. You have much work ahead of you and need to keep strong and positive. Please believe in yourself!! We will give you as much support as we can to help you through this challenging time. Are you reading the program, and doing the exercises? I do recommend that- all the info helps- what to expect, how to cope, etc.

Good luck tomorrow! Keep us posted.

Ever since I have started seeking support for my alchohol addiction I have been spiralling downwards.  I have doubled the amount I drink every day and I am having a very hard time coping at work and at home.

I will not let my kids see me fall apart.  I do not need to hit bottom to understand how serious this is.

Tomorrow, I will go to my first Women for Sobriety meeting.  I have told my family I need to work late.  I have hired a babysitter.  I have phoned to confirm the time and to make sure that I can just show up.

7:00 tomorrow - I will be there.
