Thanks for adding this 'trigger acronym' to the board, Breather. I don't know if it's one of your own great term inventions or if you happened on it and decided to share, but it's really true and is one I keep in mind if a trigger happens to rear its ugly head and makes me think it just may be OK to have 'a puff' now that I'm 'cured' of my addiction. NOT! I H.A.L.T. now when remembering to adhere to N.O.P.E.! I've also found that I need to pay attention to my Excitement & Depression triggers too - so I add these to you acronym to help cover those bases too. I adhere to Not One Puff Ever and am ever vigilant for triggers like being Hungry, Angry, Lonely, Tired, Excited and/or Depressed. That way I'm pretty sure I've H.A.L.T.E.D. any chance for my junkie thinking to derail this Quit I have going on for nearly a year now! Thanks also, for your many kind words of support and good ideas to help others quit too. 'Excellent for you' is a good way to put it! : ) Eyja
